As they have in 2007, 2008, and 2009, select AMC Theatres locations across the country will be hosting a special "Best Picture Showcase," where all ten movies nominated for Best Picture will be played back-to-back across two days: Saturday, February 27, 2010 and Saturday, March 6, 2010.

According to the AMC press release, more than 100 theaters in 46 markets will host the event. You can view the list of participating theaters below.

Previous events were one-day marathons, but since this is the first year with 10 nominees, the event is being split across two days. Avatar will be shown on February 27th, and the exact line-up for each day is not yet determined.

Guests may choose a two-day pass for both days or a one-day pass that covers one of the two days, and all attendees will receive a large popcorn with unlimited refills and a souvenier lanyard which will feature artwork from all ten movies. With this pass, guests may come and go during the event (just not during the movie, please).
