Now that we are carrying showtimes and information for all theaters in the United States, it was high time that we expand our support of theaters in Canada as well.

The next step in that process was to add support for Canadian postal codes across the site, and I'm happy to announce that is now complete!

For example, if you live in Windsor, Ontario, you are now able to see theaters near you in the various listings, such as the Nearby Theaters page in The Marquee:

Not only will this show theaters in Windsor, but also theaters in nearby Detroit, Michigan.

Adding this capability also helped us to improve the information we have for theaters in Canada, so that the site can deliver better information to our readers about those theaters.

While we are not yet listing showtimes for any theaters in Canada, this was an important step towards that goal. In the meantime, we do provide links to our online ticketing partner, Movietickets.com, which has showtimes and online ticketing for many Canadian theaters. We hope to expand our showtime coverage into the remaining portions of North America soon, based on the demand we see and hear from our readers.
