New Artwork and Photos for "Captain America" and "Thor" from Comic-Con - BigScreen Journal: The BigScreen Cinema Guide

Paramount Pictures released images from their upcoming movies Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger at the Comic-Con convention in San Diego.

Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Anthony Hopkins as Odin in Thor Chris Hemsworth stars as Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth. The movie also stars Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins, and a host of others.

The new images include some concept artwork and two stills from the movie. Visit the Photo Gallery page to see all the images we have so far. The movie opens in theaters May 6th, 2011.

Captain America: The First Avenger stars Chris Evans as the patriotic superhero defending America's ideals. Opening in theaters on July 22, 2011, the only image we have for the movie so far is the concept art that was unveiled at Comic-Con.
