Dickinson Theatres To Install 250 Digital Cinema Systems in 25 Locations

Earlier this month, NEC Display Solutions of America announced that theater chain Dickinson Theatres has selected NEC DLP Cinema® digital cinema projection equipment for 250 digital cinema systems that will be installed in 25 locations in five states in the Midwestern United States. Half of the installs are expected to occur in the next twelve months. The exact locations were not disclosed.

Dickinson Theatres currently operates 24 theaters in Arkansas, Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Texas. (Since the press release mentions 25 locations, perhaps there is a new location that has not yet opened, or it's just an error by the person writing the press release.)
