Bonita Springs, FL: Prado Cinema Cafe Closed Unexpectedly in October 2010 - BigScreen Journal: The BigScreen Cinema Guide

We just came across a news item that mentions that the Prado Cinema Cafe in Bonita Springs, Florida closed in late October 2010 without much warning to customers or to employees. CBS TV station WINK-TV ran a story on October 19, 2010 and published a brief article and the video from the report on their web site:

Moviegoer after moviegoer are telling WINK News they are shocked that the Cinema Cafe closed its doors with little or no warning.

It seems this story will not have a happy ending for employees either.

The theater just opened its doors a couple of months ago and some employees say they have yet to be paid.

The theater was formerly the Regal Bonita Springs 12, which closed in June 2009. It re-opened as the Prado Cinema Cafe on August 28, 2010. Two months later, the doors are locked and the screens are dark.
