The Century Park 16 in Tucson, Arizona closed Sunday, January 9, 2011. According to a brief mention in the News & Notes section of the Arizona Daily Star, the building has been sold to an investors group by Cinemark and it will not be used as a movie theater in the future.
The article also mentions that the theater opened in 1989.
Moviegoers that attended the Century Park 16 have plenty of choices when it comes to seeing movies, as there are 12 theaters within 10 miles of the now-closed theater.
