Daniel Craig and Gemma Arterton in Quantum of SolaceIndustry news site The Wrap is reporting that the next James Bond movie (tentatively titled Bond 23) is once again alive and scheduled for release on November 9, 2012.

Daniel Craig is slated to return as Bond, James Bond and Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition, American Beauty) will direct. Writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade from previous Bond movies Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale join John Logan (The Aviator, The Last Samurai) to write the screenplay.

Back in April, we reported that the movie was on indefinite hold, most due to MGM's financial troubles. The previous installment, Quantum of Solace, was released on November 14th, 2008.
