McCain Mall in North Little Rock, Arkansas will be getting a new 12-screen Regal Cinema, according to a recent article in Arkansas Business:

Representatives with McCain Mall and Simon Property Group of Indianapolis on Monday announced more details about a planned renovation to the North Little Rock shopping center, which include a 12-screen digital movie theater.

The renovation will begin at the end of April with an eye toward a November completion. The 60,000-SF movie theater, operated by Regal Cimemas in the old MM Cohn space, will open in October 2012.

The Lakewood 8 is just next door to McCain Mall, and the Cinemark Tandy Movies 10 is located just across the freeway from the mall, so it will be interesting to see what, if anything, will happen to those two locations when this new theater opens.
