Select Carmike Cinemas locations are hosting the 2011 Summer Kids Series, which offers kid-friendly movies on Thursday mornings for a low price.
The movies shown differ by theater, but the page for the program on Carmike's web site (see the Read link below) mentions movies such as Hotel for Dogs, How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind, and others.
The shows start at 10am each Thursday, and admission is just $1. A special Kiddie Tray that has popcorn, a drink, and a fruit snack is available for $4.

Carmike Cinemas is one of the largest movie theater chains in the United States, with over 200 locations in 36 states.
