ABC15 in Mesa, Arizona has a feature article about the anticipated opening of The Royale on Main Street in Mesa:

Fans of independent and alternative cinema in the Valley will soon have a place to call their own.

The Royale, which will be located at McDonald and Main Street in downtown Mesa, is aiming to add to the renewed nightlife in the East Valley city.

“We hope to provide an alternative to the multiplex,” says The Royale owner Andrea Beesley-Brown. “We won’t be screening first-run movies that you can catch at the multiplex. We’ll be showcasing the newest independent features, features that don’t have a theatrical avenue in the Valley.”

Some of the titles to be shown at The Royale include "Hobo with a Shotgun", starring Rutger Hauer; and Troll Hunter.
