Mount Washington, Kentucky is going to be getting its first movie theater, according to an article in Business First on March 21, 2011:
Developers announced plans Monday for a mixed-use center that will bring Mount Washington its first movie theater, as well as a mix of restaurant, retail and medical office space.
The development is called Mt. Washington Crossings, and it will be located at a 14-acre site off Ky. 44 and Armstrong Lane.

Five acres of the development has been sold to Keystone Cinemas, which owns a movie theater (Keystone Cinemas) in nearby Bardstown. Construction on the eight-screen theater is planned to begin in April, with a completion date of late October 2011.
The closest movie theater to Mount Washington is the Rave Motion Pictures Preston Crossings 16 in Okolona, which is about eight miles away.
