|Home: BigScreen Journal - First Look at Henry Cavill as Superman in "Man of Steel"|
Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures has released a new photo of Henry Cavill as Superman in the upcoming Man of Steel, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 14, 2013.

A larger version of the photo above appears in the Photo Gallery for Man of Steel, along with photos of fellow cast members Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), and Michael Shannon (General Zod).
The movie is being directed by Zack Snyder, whose recent efforts include Sucker Punch, Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, Watchmen, and 300. That lineup demonstrates that he's familiar with comic book movies and that he will most likely bring a certain style to the production that we haven't seen in previous Superman movies.
