Showplex Cinemas, Inc. announced this week that the Grand Opening Celebration for the newly remodeled Showplex Cinemas Springfield 11 in Springfield, Missouri will be held November 18-20, 2011.
The renovation project began earlier this year to take the theater from eight screens to eleven, including a new IMAX theater. The lobby and concession stand have been completely remodeled, with a second concession stand and new restrooms to top it off.
The theater, which was open during the construction, was purchased in 2010 from Dickinson Theatres as part of a 10-location deal.
To see what's playing in the 11 screens, see the Showtimes page for the Showplex Cinemas Springfield 11.
Showplex Cinemas owns and/or operates eleven locations in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
