TV channel KMGH in Denver reported earlier this month that the body of a man missing for five days was found in the bathroom of the Cinemark Fort Collins 16 in Fort Collins, Colorado:

The decomposing body of a missing Loveland man was found in a locked restroom at a movie theater in Fort Collins after five days.The body of [the man], who had died of a heart attack, somehow went unnoticed for days, slumped in the locked family restroom at the Cinemark Fort Collins 16, at 4721 S. Timberline Drive, authorities said.

The death of anyone is unfortunate, and our sympathy goes out to his family. What's especially disturbing about this story is that the bathroom had not been checked or cleaned for at least five days.

A follow-up story by the station does mention that the theater has had good health inspections in the past, but the theater would not comment about the incident.
