New owner Lee Barczak brought former Rosebud owner and Milwaukee theater historian Larry Widen to manage the theater's movie side of the business and David Gigl as general manager. Gigl runs the cafe at Barczak's Sheridan House Hotel and has managed some Applebee's locations and other sites.
Along with mainstream fare, like The Bourne Legacy that showed last week, the theater also intends to focus on movies that won't get a lot of play elsewhere in the Milwaukee area, such as today's opening of Waterwalk, movie about a father and son journey that was partially shot in Wauwatosa.
