The Dickinson Penn Square 10 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was one of the victims of the bankruptcy proceedings of its owner, Dickinson Theatres, this fall, but the theater will get a new lease on life November 9, 2012 when it becomes the AMC Penn Square 10.
A press release issued by AMC Theatres recently states that AMC will take over the theater's operations on November 9th, and they will be making changes to the theater with better seating, expanded concession choices, and other improvements.
“AMC has a strong presence in Oklahoma City, and we are very excited to open for business at one of the most popular malls in Oklahoma,” said Mark McDonald, executive vice president of Development at AMC.
The theater will stay open during construction, which will begin in December and be completed by May 1, 2013.
