The new Penn Cinema Riverfront & IMAX in Wilmington, Delaware has delayed its grand opening date to December 14, 2012, in time for the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

When the groundbreaking was announced in June, they were hoping to be open by November 9th, for the release of the new James Bond movie, Skyfall, but their Facebook page mentioned that the opening was delayed, and then the new date was set last week.

If you were looking forward to seeing Skyfall or another movie at the theater, you will need to visit the Showtimes pages for one of the other eight theaters in the vicinity to see what they are playing.
