The Cedar Theatre in Cedar City, Utah is planning to open in June 2012, according to an article in the SUU News:

The Pulsipher brothers, along with local contractors, are putting the final touches into the historic downtown Cedar Theatre and gearing up for the grand re-opening this June.

Kolby Pulsipher said renovations are winding down, as they will re-paint the floors and install seating next week.

“We are in the final stages of fixing up the theatre in regards to renovations,” Kolby Pulsipher said. “All the HVAC and plumbing has been done, we are just now brainstorming ideas on how to promote the theatre, what movies to show, and getting the community involved.”

In regards to movies, Kyle Pulsipher said they want to show classics, westerns, trilogies and latest releases. As for other ideas, they would like to have theme nights, live entertainment and birthday parties, as well as stream UFC fights, Utah Shakespeare Festival plays and away SUU sporting events.
