The Aurora Sentinel is reporting that plans have been unveiled for a redesign of the the Century Aurora 16 in Aurora, Colorado, which has been closed since a shooting on July 20, 2012 that left 12 people dead and many more wounded.
The theater will be turning the auditorium where it happened into one of Cinemark's XD "Extreme Digital Cinema" auditoriums, all auditoriums will get letter designations instead of the previous numbering, and the exterior signage will be changed as well.
