San Antonio, TX: Regal Huebner Oaks Stadium 14 & RPX Opens August 3, 2012 - BigScreen Journal: The BigScreen Cinema Guide

Regal Entertainment Group Logo The Regal Huebner Oaks Stadium 14 & RPX in San Antonio, Texas is opening its doors to the public today, August 3, 2012, according to a press release issued by Regal Entertainment Group.

The new 14-screen theater replaces the AMC Huebner Oaks 24, which originally opened in 1997 and closed November 3, 2011. It was renovated extensively by Regal, reducing the screen count by 10, and one of the amenities added is one of Regal's big-screen concept RPX auditoriums. RPX is Regal's brand for an upgraded viewing experience, with a larger screen, enhanced sound system, and luxurious seating.

The article in My San Antonio today references a Regal manager's comment that once movies are done playing at this theater, they will move on to the nearby Regal Fiesta 16, at a discounted price.
