Fort Myers, FL: Pair Wants to Convert Edison Park Movie Theater Into Broadway-style Venue

The Naples News is reporting that two men are planning to convert the Edison Park 8 in Fort Myers, Florida into a Broadway-style live performance venue, called The Victory Center for the Performing Arts:

Waldman and Troutman arrived in Fort Myers this spring, leasing the vacant Edison Park 8 Cinemas across Winkler Avenue from Edison Mall. They hope to turn the space into a Broadway-style theater with a main stage, an Off-Broadway performance space and a restaurant bar/lounge.
