Bow Tie Cinemas will be taking over the Regal Cinemas Wilton Mall 8 in Saratoga Springs, New York, which closed earlier this month, according to an article in The Business Review on February 6, 2013:

Bow Tie Cinemas Chief Operating Officer Joe Masher said the new, 8-screen theater will open this fall, possibly in November.

The company will make several upgrades, including stadium-style seating with leather rocking chair, large wall-to-wall screens including a BTX: Bow Tie Extreme screen measuring 2,000 square feet, Dolby surround sound and digital projection.

“We look forward to providing movie-goers at the Wilton Mall with the same exceptional experience they have come to know at Bow Tie’s other Capital District locations,” Masher said.

Click the Read link below to view the full article. An article published the same day in the Times Union states that Bow Tie will remodel the 8-screen location as well as continue to construct an 11-screen location in downtown Saratoga Springs. That theater is scheduled to open in July.

Bow Tie Cinemas currently operates 20 theaters in five states, including the Bow Tie Movieland 6 in Schenectady and Bow Tie Cinemas American Theater in the Bronx.
