The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema - Littleton in Littleton, Colorado opened on March 25, 2013. The grand opening of the chain's first Denver-area location was celebrated with an appearance by action heroine Pam Grier, known for movies such as Foxy Brown, Coffy, Jackie Brown, and others.

The 7-screen theater in the Aspen Grove Shopping Center features a Digital Cinema Projection system in every auditorium and full bar and restaurant service with seats that have attached tables and large aisles that allow for service before and during the film without creating a disturbance to others watching the movie. All seats are assigned, and you can reserve yours when you purchase your ticket(s).

Also opening that day is the Glass Half Full bar, which is a full service bar focused on craft beer and quality original and classic cocktails. It will feature brews from local and regional Colorado breweries, with an emphasis on the world-class beer produced in and around Denver, as well as a large selection of bottled beer. They will also serve locally-distilled spirits from companies like Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey and Leopold Bros.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is based out of Texas, but they have locations in Michigan, Missouri, and Virginia as well (view a list of all locations). They gained notoriety a few years ago for their strict no texting, no talking policy when an angry voice mail left by someone who ran afoul of the rules was turned into a PSA that they now show before the movie. Aside from dealing out lessons on manners, the theater chain is also known for having fun by showing movies surrounding themes, such as sing-alongs, 80's movies, girls night out, and tough guys.
