The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that a fight at the AMC Mayfair Mall 18 ended in seven arrests and that four people were injured. Wauwatosa police were called to the theater on Friday, October 27, to help eject a 20-year-old man and three teens. The fight occurred about 8:40pm as the officers tried to arrest one of the teens.

Mayfair Mall officials and city officials are stating that this was an isolated incident and not a repeat of the problems that plagued the theater back in 2003.

Those incidents have been cited as the reason why major movie theater chains are reluctant to build a new theater in the city of Milwaukee (there are currently no movie theaters located in downtown Milwaukee). Similar concerns circle around the attempts of the developer of the Bayshore Town Center to include a movie theater in that development.
