Marcus Theatres Corporation has officially announced that their new locations in Green Bay and Sturtevant (Racine) Wisconsin will open on Friday, November 17, 2006. Both will feature digital sound, stadium seating, and online ticketing, and the Sturtevant location will feature a 70-foot wide UltraScreen auditorium.
The Marcus Green Bay East cinema is located at 1000 Kepler Drive, near I-43 and Mason St. on Green Bay's East side. The Marcus Cinema at The Renaissance is located at 10411 Washington Avenue, near I-94 & Hwy 20 in Sturtevant.
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 9, 2006--Marcus Theatres Corporation, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE:MCS), today announced the opening of two new theatres in Wisconsin. A new 12-screen theatre in Green Bay and a 13-screen theatre in Sturtevant (Racine) will open on Friday, November 17, 2006.
"We are pleased to announce the opening of the Marcus Cinema Green Bay East in Green Bay, Wis. and the Marcus Cinema at The Renaissance in Sturtevant, Wis.," said Bruce J. Olson, president of Marcus Theatres. "Our new theatres are state-of-the-art entertainment destinations that take moviegoing to a new level for residents of these key Wisconsin markets."
"The Marcus Cinema Green Bay East and the Marcus Cinema at The Renaissance feature all of the up-to-date amenities that moviegoers expect - stadium seating and digital sound in every auditorium, big curved screens, comfortable high-back seats, online print-at-home ticketing, lobby entertainment on flat-screen monitors and self-service soft drinks. The new cinema in Sturtevant will also include Marcus Theatres' seventh signature 70-foot-wide UltraScreen(R)," said Olson. "Both theatres feature classic warm wood finishes, rich stone floors and granite counters - all part of Marcus Theatres' elegant art-deco design concept."
In addition to opening the Green Bay and Sturtevant theatres, Olson noted that the company's new flagship theatre, The Majestic, is currently under construction in Brookfield, Wis.
