Milwaukee, WI: Times Cinema Sold to Historian - BigScreen Journal: The BigScreen Cinema Guide

The Milwaukee Business Journal is reporting that the Times Cinema has been purchased by local historian and author Larry Widen:

Theater historian and author Larry Widen is the new owner of the Times Cinema, which was sold by Millennium Entertainment L.L.C. of Wauwatosa after owning it for just 19 months.

Widen said Wednesday that he plans to continue featuring classic, independent and new release films at the west side Milwaukee independent theater while adding a variety of features intended to make the Times Cinema a new cultural and entertainment destination.
