Muvico Is Not Just About Coming To See A Particular Movie
“We are very excited to expand the entertainment value of coming to Muvico with the prototype plans reflected in the design of Muvico Boynton Beach 14,” said Muvico Entertainment, LLC President and CEO Michael Whalen, Jr. “Each and every day we seek to strengthen our entertainment model of providing a premium and differentiated entertainment experience that people cannot get at home or in any other type of theater environment.”
Because going to Muvico is not just solely about seeing a particular movie, but rather about a “total Muvico experience,” Whalen noted that “Muvico guests can expect to soon see live sporting and concert events all in digital cinema at our locations. We also have plans to add IMAX auditoriums to three of our theaters, including Muvico Parisian 20 at CityPlace in West Palm Beach.”
He added that: “this newest venue’s design [Boynton Beach] demonstrates a new wave of movie entertainment that features fewer screens with larger auditoriums plus broadened on-site entertainment options. Guests familiar with the grandeur of Muvico Palace in Boca Raton, will love the intimacy of Muvico Boynton Beach 14. With our guests’ needs and interests always seen as a priority, our award-winning guest services crew continues to be second to none in the industry.”
Pre-Opening Vip Gala Features Movie Favorites
Orchestrated in true Hollywood red (and blue) carpet-style (in honor of the release of Spider-Man 3 last evening) with large gobo lighted spider webs adorning the grand entertainment destination, an invitation-only Spider-ific themed event was held as a Spider-ific sneak peek of MUVICO’s newest entertainment venue. It launched with a “reel” ribbon-cutting ceremony with community and industry VIPs and movie favorites including Spider-Man, Shrek, Fiona, Jack Sparrow, The Thing (from The Fantastic Four) and Lord Voldemort with a 20-foot towering Spider-Man balloon keeping a protective watch over the festivities. Guests enjoyed photo ops with these movie favorites and celebrated with their choice of red and blue Spider-tinis.
