If you're planning on going cave exploring this summer, you may want to pass on "The Descent" before you go. It's probably not endorsed by any organizations that thrive on the hobby!

My expectations were set pretty high, due to the positive reviews I remember reading when the movie was released last August. The concept of a group of adventure seeking women getting trapped in an unexplored cave was interesting (as opposed to a group of women who are helpless victims).

The end result is a good, but not excellent, horror movie. You can read all of my comments in the Reader Reviews for "The Descent."
