WJRT-TV (Channel 12) is reporting that the Showcase Cinemas Flint East in Burton, Michigan and the Cinema 10 in Flint Township, Michigan will be closing.
Genesee County residents will soon have fewer choices to check out the latest movies. Monday, two local movie theaters announced they are shutting down.
The reason? Michigan's slow economy.:
The Showcase theater in Burton will close Sept. 3. A date has not been set for Cinema 10, but the company says it will happen in the next few months.
