Select theaters in the National Amusements theater chain will be showing a series they are calling "Attack of the B Movies," which is a weekly double-feature of the "best B movies from the 50's and 60's."

According to the National Amusements web site, the movies will be shown every Thursday night at 7pm from September 20, 2007 through October 25, 2007.

Admission is $5.00 for both movies as a double-feature.

This series is playing at select theaters only, and the schedule of movies to be shown varies by theater, but to give you an example of the kind of movies they're selecting, here is the line-up of the movies playing at the Showcase Cinemas in Ann Arbor, Michigan:

Movie: The Wasp Woman / Monster from Green Hell
Date: 9/20/2007

Movie: The Giant Gila Monster / Gammera the Invincible
Date: 9/27/2007

Movie: The Brain That Wouldn't Die / Screaming Skull
Date: 10/4/2007

Movie: Attack of the Giant Leeches / Monster from a Prehistoric Planet
Date: 10/11/2007

Movie: The Terror / House on Haunted Hill
Date: 10/18/2007

Movie: The Last Man on Earth / Devil Girl From Mars
Date: 10/25/2007

Check out the list of theaters to the right that I found playing this series. You will see the movies that are playing by going to the showtimes page for each Thursday (if the theaters have filled in their full line-ups -- if not, you'll see just the showtimes for the upcoming week).
