September and early October usually mark a slowdown in our site traffic, as the movie studios take a traditional break in releasing blockbuster movies and many people are busy with back-to-school and end-of-summer plans.

However, we've not seen much of a slowdown so far, as our traffic numbers are still rising steadily and the need for continued performance improvements has made itself clear in the past couple of weeks.

If you have noticed some issues with our site during busy periods, especially on Friday afternoons, you will be happy to know that we have added more performance improvements to our "Now Showing" section.
