For those of you looking for the J.J. Abrams-produced movie that was teasingly titled "1-18-08" (after its release date), its official title is now "Cloverfield."
The teaser trailer that was released earlier this year didn't show much, but it did show a beheaded Statue of Liberty. In the new trailer that is available now on the Trailers & Videos page, we get to see where Liberty's head lands... The link we have there has resolutions all the way from itty-bitty iPhone size to 1080p HD, so there should be a format there to satisfy your display of choice and bandwidth connection.
In Cloverfield, five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives. Could this be Godzilla for the YouTube generation?
