|Home: BigScreen Journal - TV Spots and New Poster Artwork Added for "Cloverfield"|
The upcoming J.J. Abrams produced movie Cloverfield has been hyped to the extreme over the past few months, and in some ways, it will be a relief when the movie is finally released and the public has a chance to weigh in on the quality of the movie as a whole.
I'm really hoping that this movie is worth the attention, and not a "the hype was better than the movie" movie, like Snakes on a Plane turned out to be in 2006. Anyone remember The Blair Witch Project?
Anyway, we've added links for two TV spots for the movie to the Videos & Trailers page and there has been a new edition of the now-familiar poster artwork featuring a headless Statue of Liberty (if you watch the trailer, you'll see why she's headless, or at least, where it ends up). You can view a large (400x600) version of the new poster, as well as the previous posters on the Photo Galleries page for the movie.
