The Columbia Place Stadium Cinemas in Columbia, South Carolina has closed. Their Facebook page was updated on November 17, 2011 with a short "The theater is temporarily shut down" message. No other information could be found.

The UA North 6 in Santa Fe, New Mexico closed on December 7, 2011. It was Santa Fe's only discount theater. The Santa Fe New Mexican published an article which mentions that the theater's lease was expiring and was not renewed by Regal Cinemas.... (more)

Marcus Theatres, a division of The Marcus Corporation, announced today that it will purchase the Showtime Cinema in Franklin, Wisconsin. The theater is located near Highway 100 and Loomis Road, and is situated nearly equidistant from Marcus South... (more)
