| Pray for Japan On March 11, 2011 an unprecedented natural disaster hit the northeastern region of Japan, caused by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami. Pray For Japan: The Film is a documentary feature film project that was shot over a period of six weeks in the devastated Tohoku region of Japan. Most of the filming was done in the coastal community of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture. The documentary weaves together several stories of real-life heroes working to heal the stricken land and its people.
