Originally opened Dec 22, 1971 as the UA Cinemas 1-2-3 (United Artists Theatres). Formerly known as the Edwards South Coast Village. It became the Regency South Coast Village 3 (Regency Theatres) in 2007. Closed in Jan 2025.

I saw the Emily Dickinson movie at this theater. The movie was disappointing but the theater was amazing! Friendly staff and beautifully redecorated with lounge chair seating. Priced below the cost of the newer and bigger theaters. This is my new favorite theater!
