Majestic Theatre
119 N. Vermillion Street Streator, IL 61364 ![]() Opened July 29, 1907 as a vaudeville theater. It closed in 1921 and reopened as a movie theater three months later. It closed in 1927. It reopened in 1936. Closed in 1955. Purchased December 25, 1968 by Kerasotes. A second screen was added by converting the nearby funeral home. Closed in 1995. Tim Burke purchased the theater in June 1996. As of 2013, the theater is now operated by Katie and Jim Troccoli. It stopped showing movies in 2014.
