This feature is intended for our readers to share their experiences at movie theaters, in the hopes that theaters providing good presentations will be highlighted as well as those that need improvement to meet the expectations of their customers.

This is not a forum for bashing on a theater, but rather a place for your experiences (both good and bad) to be noted for other readers to see. If you had a problem at a theater, we encourage you to contact that theater using the information on their Contact Information page. Most theaters are very interested in hearing feedback from their customers.

I have always enjoyed going to the Los Feliz Theaters. I like the location and the intimacy of the small venue. It lives well with Skylight Books next door. Personal attention is hard to find in venues with 20+ screens but Los Feliz staff are both personable and helpful. Last but not least, the price is right!

Parking is an ever present problem in Los Angeles and is just something else to deal with here.

A small, old single-screen theater divided with only moderate success to a triplex: one auditorium is wide and shallow with no aisles; the two smaller ones are long and narrow, with much smaller screens.

That said, it's a friendly place in a neighborhood with a lot of dining options, And they tend to book slightly "artier" pictures (i.e., don't look for Transformers) than a lot of theaters -- including the nearby Vista, with which (I believe) it shares ownership. And the Skylight bookstore is virtually next door.

Parking can be a problem -- watch the time limits on those meters! And there's a (small, pay) lot behind the theater.

Ticket prices are a little less right than they used to be, but it's no Arclight.

Would you recommend this theater to others? Yes
