first time at this theater- usually go to foxboro.
we will never come here again. We went to see The Town on Tuesday Sept 21 at 3:10.

The theater was a disgrace. had not been cleaned all day, drinks - rubbish every where.

You spends hundreds of millions on this place and treat it like a dump. Everyone on duty that day should be fired.

There were 30 to 40 people in the theater and I can't believe, We were the only people to look for the manager and complain.

We will never return and may not return to any Showcase cinema again.

Would you recommend this theater to others? No!

My friend and I saw Eat Pray Love last week at the Lux theater at Dedham. The waiter/waitress took our order and the food was served. About half way through the movie we rang the bell for another drink and dessert. No one came? We continued to wait then again at the last 20 minutes of the movie rang again still no response. The waiter neglected to see how are food was or to see if we needed anything else! When the movie was over we rang the bell again to pay our bill still no response we went up to the bar and paid our bill and the staff said it was change of shift.

My friend and I have been to the Lux many times and usually the last 20 to 15 minutes of the movie they bring you the bill to your seat. Everyother time we have been to the Lux theater we have had fabulous service so this time was a let down . We are seriously considering not coming back to this theater.

All other staff was very helpful to assist , and I have the waiter/waitresses name but felt it was unappropriate to list it here. Awaiting a call back from the management.

I attended this theatre last weekend to view Toy Story 3, and was immediately dissappointed that the theatre did not offer booster seats for kids. I talked to the manager, and she simply said booster seats were a safety hazard. My kids were too small to sit anywhere other than the front row in order to see the screen...and not SEE the back side of the seat in front of them.

I had to remove my shoes, and wedged the shoe into the seat to prevent the seat from folding up on the kids. ...VERY DISSAPPOINTED!

Just returned from watching Avator at the Showcase in Dedham MA.

We loved the movie but were extremely disappointed in the Lux level. We opted to pay more for the roomier more comfortable seats but were disappointed to find that the service was horrible.

They give you a $5.00 voucher per ticket but it look us 40 minutes into the movie to get service - all we wanted was popcorn and a drink! Everyone around us got served before we did. What's up with that? The person that takes your order is not the same person that delivers it so servers were lost trying to figure out who ordered what - surprising since the seats are numbered!

Also, they drop off your check 30 minutes before the end of the movie and expect you to pay the bill. Hello, we're watching a movie over here. It's too dark to read the bill. Next time we want to enjoy a movie we'll go to AMC Premium in Natick - same comfortable seats, nice leg room, drinks and food but non intrusive wait staff and all the popcorn and soft drinks come with the price of the ticket!
