Holiday Star Theater
340 Main Street Park Forest, IL 60466 ![]() Opened in 1950 as Holiday Theatre. Classic Cinemas purchased the theater in 1980 and renamed it the Park Forest Theatre. Classic Cinemas left for a short time and then returned when the new operator didn't work out. They twinned the auditorium in 1990. Later, the balcony was converted into two additional screens, and an adjacent space brought the total screen count to 5. Sensible Cinemas chain ran the theater from 2004-2005. It reopened in January 2006 as the Eagle Theater (might have been called Eagle Park Forest Theater). In 2010, it was renamed Holiday Star Theater by its new owner. It closed September 5, 2013.
