913 Washington Avenue Bay City, MI 48708 Message: 517-892-2660 more » Built in 1908 as the Bijou Theatre for live shows and vaudeville. In the late 1920s, it was converted to showing movies and renamed to the Orpheum. It was known as the Bay Theatre from 1930-1960. It became the State Theatre in 1960. As of 2021, it is hosting live shows and shows movies occasionally.
