I was introduced to this place by my boyfriend. He found a coupon for Cinepolis and he decided to take me out to see The Descendants which by the way is a great movie and I totally recommend it.

They have a promo going on at Couponmat. They offer free popcorn with the purchase of a soda. You can print the coupon at http://www.couponmat.com/?p=coupon&id=10304

it was $22 due to Puss in Boots being a 3d movie - and i never thought i'd pay more than the $6 i used to pay for matinees with the coupon for ultrastar. That said - the video review of a local news channel convinced me.

Once in the super plush lazy boy-type chair life was good!

It was magnificent to be so far away from the neighbors that one had no idea who they were or what they were doing. The chair was magnificent and there was a complete absence of the regular annoying aspects of being in a movie house: popcorn breath of your neighbor, people climbing over you or you having to climb over others' legs, the light of the kids playing games on his phone...and the people wandering in waiting for their movie to start next door, and ruining a climactic cinema moment for you.

i had the 3d glasses on and was in the 4.30 show of puss in boots, on Friday 10-29-11.... but there was no 3D effect. at some points the figures seemed to be having a shadow.. slightly out of focus. but no 3d. finally i took the 3d glasses off (although i kept checking now and again through them for the 3d... no luck.

Anyone know why?

I thought it would have been nice if they made their bathrooms like those in L'Auberge Hotel. The theatre was so great i looked forward to the bathrooms, which were neat, clean and functional but not a ladies' powder room fantasy. Perfect temperature warm water automatically comes from the faucets to wash the hands though - great touch.

My BFF treated me to your lovely theater on 9/28 where we viewed "The Help". The theater was spacious, the chairs was comfy, and the service was excellent. We arrived just a bit late, and didn't get a good look prior to our arrival, but I thought it was delightful...and have plans to come again...for my son's upcoming birthday. Can't think this wouldn't be a blast for teenagers!

Well I hear this is a great theater so I want to go tonight. I find it online since the Del Mar Highlands closed and there is a google reference to that effect. Now I look at the movies and the choices are mediocre (Not necessarily their fault) but when I try to buy tickets online I am stuck. At $20 per ticket ,and I need two, I want to know where I will sit. They offer two choices for this: best available seats and pick your own. But even after registering I can't see the seats! So they want me to fork over $40 for exclusive seating but won't clue me in as to what I am going to get?!? How is this going to fly? Well I changed my mind about buying tickets...
