Reader VoiceComments from Our Readers

This feature is intended for our readers to share their experiences at movie theaters, in the hopes that theaters providing good presentations will be highlighted as well as those that need improvement to meet the expectations of their customers.

This is not a forum for bashing on a theater, but rather a place for your experiences (both good and bad) to be noted for other readers to see. If you had a problem at a theater, we encourage you to contact that theater using the information on their Contact Information page. Most theaters are very interested in hearing feedback from their customers.

The movie was "Rules Don't Apply," Monday matinee Dec. 5. 2016, though none of that really applies.

The theater has more or less recently installed reserved seating in several auditoriums; big ol' chairs with footrests and wide space between rows. No 9 was, I think, 40 seats total in five rows.

What this means is that if you want to see a picture that's at all popular, it's best to commit yourself and reserve/pay in advance (with a "convenience" surcharge, thanks for nothin').

The seats are so close to the screen -- even the last row -- is that you have to look up at about a 45-degree angle. The seats recline a bit, but come ON!

Somebody in power clearly thought this was a good idea. I think it's a great way to send potential customers to the other Century theater, where for the moment your chances or getting a seat are better and less expensive.

I see they've applied for a beer & wine license. Maybe that will help.

Agreat little theater, prices about normal even for seniors. Parking is no problem, free parking lots on Poli St. so you do not have to feed the meter.

My wife and I enjoy coming here. Not slammed with people like the multi-plexes. Popcorn is freshly popped and we have not had a rude server.

Another plus is you are downtown within walking distance of good food, entertainment and shopping. The other theater is next to the 101 South and other than Chuckie Cheese, I do not know what else is around.
