I am a big movie fan. I was born in Springfield Massachusetts and lived there for 64 years. I cultivated a love for cinema, spending many happy Saturday and Sunday in a darkened movie palace, entranced by the flickering images on the big white screen.

My wife and I moved to Mooresville for retirement and soon after discovered Showtime Cinema.

What a great theater! Reasonable prices for everything and certain amenities that New England movie theaters NEVER offered!

We saw the Angry Birds movie and we all enjoyed the show, as well as the price of admission (discounted matinee on Wed and Sundays- woot!) The cost of concessions is also very reasonable, including free or cheap refills. This was the first time we have visited the theater since the new seats were installed, and they were exceptionally comfortable! Great experience!!

I visited your theater for the first time this week with my 3 grandkids and watched inside out. Had a great time, the theater was in great shape and hope to come back many more times. Since I'm 65+ I would like to see some add'l days/times for seniors in terms of pricing. Other than that my first impression was very positive.

This place is great & has great prices, especially when schools have showings for movies. We don't go anywhere else. It is great to be able to support a local business. We go any chance we can to watch new movies.

We have been thrilled with the customer service and special accommodations that the owners have extended to our homeschool group "family". We had a large group attend a special show time of the Lego Movie when it opened, and now we are planning a return visit to see Dolphin Tale 2.

With discounted pricing and special deals on food/drink, we could not be happier! The few times I have spoken with the owner (Joe) he has been very helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend this theater to everyone and we will be returning often!!

We've seen around 10 movies at Mooresville's Showtime Cinema and have been impressed every time! The Avampato's are doing a great job of running this business and have given Mooresville a great entertainment spot with reasonable prices, friendly staff, and an attractive facility. Thank you! Great movie theater! I had no problems with the price of concessions.... and you can get refills for small popcorn at 50 cents .... which I don't believe you can at other theaters! The theater was clean and comfortable. The owner is currently working on switching from film to digital, but still I did not see anything wrong with the quality of the movie!

I have been there twice and I like it better than going to the more expensive cinema's. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I like the cheaper prices of the popcorn, drinks and movies but wish there were more than 1 free refill.

My family and I are so happy to have the movies back at Mooresville. It is very well priced at $8.00 regular showing and $6.00 for matinee which these prices are way lower than any other theaters.

As it is still working out the kinks (due to the fact that the theater as been empty for a few years) it is nice to have an affordable place for our family to enjoy. We have seen about 6 movies there and the quality and sound was good.

The only thing is that it would be even better if there was a sign out on the building so we can see the times and dates of the movies and I think that would help people realize you are open. Thanks and good luck.

Although the information left by the "Big Screen Reader" is, to a degree true, it is highly misleading and does not paint a true picture of all of the circumstances. We provide free buttery topping to all popcorn purchases upon request. After all at $8 per gallon all theatres offer it for free. If you would like REAL butter at over $40 per gallon we charge 50¢. The theatre was nice on the inside and the ticket price is ok. The food prices were awful , free refills on large drinks apparently means one free refill then they mark your glass and it's 50 cents after that. Want butter on that popcorn , 50 cents. Nachos over 5.00 dollars.

I want to like it cause its so close but at those prices I'll just go to canary creek or centerbrook where prices are cheaper and things like refills are a courtesy given you pay so much to begin with. Food prices should not be higher than a pacer,or indians game. Perhaps this is why the old theatre in the same location closed.

I haven’t seen a movie at this Cinema yet, but it looks absolutely wonderful inside and out; also the concession prices and ticket prices are the best I have seen.

My only concern is the number of movie showing... There seems to be only five (5) movie playing, Are there going to be more? and I plan on seeing The Amazing Spider-Man at this Cinema, but are they going to have it in 3D?

Those are my only concerns, otherwise everything is GREAT!
