This is in regard to AmStar in Oxford, Alabama ----This is the 3rd time I have written my comments and none went through. What I wrote was that your staff is excellent and very nice to me, an elderly lady barely able to walk with a cane.

My complaint is the picture is too dark. This ruins the whole movie for me. I expect it to be as good as a movie video that I can purchase at the store. The colors are not as good because of that. I am 75 years old and would like to see a picture as good as they were back in my younger days. I have not seen a modern 3-D movie yet and have wondered if they were as good as the 3-D movies in the 1950s. I have been told they are not. That could be due to the brilliance of the movie (being too dark). But, as I said -- I have not seen one yet.

Yeah, I wasn't all to happy the other day, So i decided to go to the movies, to cheer myself up. Booth staff was nice. counter staff was fine.. at first.... ticket lady was very very nice. at the counter, i bought nacho, a soda, and a hot dog.

Well, i'm walking to a seat.. and the nacho tray SNAPS in half. spilling my 5 dollar nachos to the floor. I walk back out and told the ticket lady about it, she said they couldn't clean it till after, and that was ok. I went to the counter and explained it again.. they said sorry, i have to buy another. i simply walked away and watched my movie, more pissed than ever...

Now, my day was crap.. my timing belt snapped and ripped up my engine pretty bad.. setting my bank back a few hundred... my phone carrier then decided to lose my ELECTRONIC bill payment. so i could call a ride. onto of that my favorite pair of sunglasses fall to the floor and pops out the lenses.

now, i'm thinking i'm gonna enjoy watching Nazis getting whacked with an oversize shield.. get a few laughs... but the fact that they cheap out of FIVE DOLLAR nachos.. where the trays snaps if ya hold it to long.. and then say i have to buy another.. that just tops it...

My daughter and her boyfriend went to the ticket booth to purchase ticket's for Fast Five. There was an older lady with black hair that walk thru the door of the ticket booth and told them that the theater was closing early for the holiday. This was around 7;10p.m. on Sunday May 29th.

So I called and spoke with a man that answered the manager's phone and asked him if they were closing early for the holiday, he said they would be open till 10;10p.m. So I explained to him what had happened and he told me that he had 2 male's working in the booth and he didn't know who the lady was.

Then my wife spoke with him and told him that the lady had on a Quintard Mall shirt and was the only one in the booth when my daughter and her boyfriend arrived. He then told my wife the same thing he told me and called my daughter a Liar.

I have friend's at a local Radio Station and other places that I'll be sure to let the public know that if you go to Amstar in Quintard Mall and have any problem's you will be called a Liar and no telling what else. I may just show up and stand outside the ticket booth and tell people this face to face.

My husband & I go to the movies @ AmStar every Friday night. We are in the rewards deal.

The computer printed out a 'Free Season Pass' along with our tickets when we purchased them. I took it to the desk, the man in charge told me that he was going to fire whoever I had gotten that ticket from, so I gave the ticket to him. I guess he tore it up & we haven't gotten a Free ticket as of yet.

It wasn't the person who was operating the cash register & I personally don't know Why we couldn't keep the ticket & use it. After all, It Was given to us freely.
