Galaxy Cinema
770 Cary Towne Boulevard Cary, NC 27511 ![]() Originally opened Dec 23, 1977 as the Imperial Cinemas I-IV (Litchfield Theatres). United Artists took over in 1991. It expanded to six screens on Dec 16, 1994 and it was renamed the Imperial Cinemas 6. Madstone Theatres took over in 2002 and renamed it the Madstone VI, which closed in 2003. Galaxy Theatres opened the theater as the Galaxy Cinemas VI in 2005. It closed Nov 11, 2012.
