6823 West North Avenue 68th & North Ave. Wauwatosa, WI 53213 Message: 414-763-7975 more » formerly Tosa Theater, which opened in 1931. It was the first theater in Milwaukee operated by Ben Marcus, founder of the Marcus Theatres chain. Marcus sold it in 1996 to Elizabeth Figuroa and Jim Farr. Jay Hollis bought the theater in 1999 and renamed it to the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse. It was purchased by David Glazer in 2007. It was sold in 2012 to Lee Barczak of the Neighborhood Theater Group at a sheriff's auction. It was rebranded to Rosebud Cinema in 2021.
