The Italian Job
A group of professional thieves, led by career criminal Charlie Croker, plan on stealing million in gold, by creating the largest traffic jam in Los Angeles' history. As the robbers snatch the gold, secured in a safe that they're stealing back from Croker's double-crossing ex-partner--who first stole it from Croker--their plan involves rigging all the city's stoplights. While everyone else, including the police, will be caught in traffic, they can get away in their souped-up BMW Mini Coopers, which are small enough to drive on sidewalks, and in the subway system--perfect to make a clean get away before the traffic jam clears. At least, that's what they plan.
