View movie reviews   HappyThankYouMorePlease Meet Sam (Josh Radnor), a twenty-something New York writer who can't get his career or his love life in check. After a chance encounter with an abandoned foster child throws his career into disarray, the commitment-phobic Sam meets Mississippi (Kate Mara), a beautiful bar maid and singer. He falls so hard for her that he suggests not a one-night stand, but a three-night stand – until he wakes up the next morning and realizes what he's done. But with a kid he has taken in and a woman he doesn't really know both living in his apartment, Sam starts looking at his fears of commitment in a new light. Ultimately it takes some unexpected events and a little soul searching for Sam (and his equally unlucky-in-love friends) to shake off their romantic cynicism as they define what it means to love and be loved.
