A lot of critics happen to love "Win Win." but I took a minority stand. I like the chemistry between between Paul Giamatti and the kid, who is a rising star on his high school wresting team, but the movie falls short because of lot of distractions. Giamatti plays a attroney, who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach who come upon a young man who can wrestle very well. Like I say, I like the chemistry, but the movie is full of distractions. Giamatti's father gets send to a old folks home and the issue of the mother of the kid who shows up demanding custody. Plus, Giamatti's family is no different from the families from "Insideous" or "Hall Pass." Fox Searchlight makes some of the best movies, but sadly "Win Win" is not a win for me.
